The only difference so far that I have noticed with the software upgrade is that theie animations are now running smoothly as ever - Safari has less crashes too. I too noticed that when you're watching a video, you can now rotate it all 360 degrees of it! The SDK that they just released is a bummer for PC and Mac users alike. It's only available for the Intel-based Macs. Also, Apple plans to release iPhone 2.0 which the SDK will work in - for free... iPod Touch users will have to pay for the new software release... again.
